Inspiration and design trends for your staircase renovation According to the trade fair organizers, around 60,000 visitors from 148 countries and over 1,600 exhibitors from 57 countries participated in interzum from May 20 to 23, 2025. As the world’s leading trade fair for furniture manufacturing and interior design, the trade fair in Cologne is THE platform for all companies in the industry. This year’s focus was on the key theme “Rethinking Resources: Circular and Biobased Solutions.” Our fedi team was on site in Cologne and was inspired. Udo Feier, Jan Grissner, Yannick, and Jörg Dinkelbach visited the trade fair over two days. As a specialist company for staircase renovation and lighting systems, we are always on the lookout for new, innovative materials and sustainable design trends. We met with several producers from the industry and intensified the exchange with our partners. After the trade fair is before the trade fair – we are excited about interzum 2027 in Cologne.

New VULCANO design flooring
New to our range is the Vulcano design flooring. In addition to a modern, industrial-style stone decor, the product features are also impressive: This innovative vinyl flooring offers natural impact sound insulation and is ideal for all living spaces as well as for commercial areas subject to heavy use, such as open-plan offices or public buildings. The Puretec® Plus surface consists of a PUR-based transparent polymer layer and is PVC- and plasticizer-free. The AquaSafe special board (reduced swelling) is based on natural, renewable materials and features AquaStop edge impregnation. Vulcano is particularly user-friendly and can be installed quickly, easily, and without glue.
